Data Warehouse Developer

We are growing a Data Warehouse team in Ipswich. As part of a brand synonomous with global luxury experiences, they are consistently recognised as the 'go to' in their field. Technology is at the centre of ensuring their business maintain their competitive edge and deliver excellence in customer experience. Working in their Data Analytics team, there are a number of key projects on the horizon and the team are already setting themselves up for becoming a centre of excellence to the wider company which is the catalyst behind this hire.

Taking the lead on centralising a new Data Warehouse, this role will work closely with all facets of the business and levels of stakeholder to ensure their data needs are captured and understood to ensure accurate mapping into this new Warehouse. Ultimately, this role will become the go-to for producing a new centralised platform, storing, collating and processing large sets of data. Regular insight provision to the business will also form a key part of this position, providing regular and 'ad-hoc' reports for the business to aid key strategic decisions imperative to their growth.

Previous Data Warehouse development and maintenance experience is being called for across any ETL frameworks and tools (training on their specific tool is on offer). Previous Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS experience would be of significant interest to the team. There will be a visualisation aspect to the position with QlikView being their tool of choice. The team are completely open to alternative tools (Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reporting etc.) and are constantly looking at new ways of improving the work they do and how they can use different technology to achieve this. Type of industry and sector is less important however. Database (RDMS) and T-SQL knowledge would also play to your advantage. Above all, whilst key analytical experience is necessary, this company favour attitude and desire to grow and learn above ticking all the boxes on a job spec. A competitive salary, envious benefits package and chance to play a pivotal role in this company's future is on offer.
